Lavender

Componentes principales: Alcoholes (borneol, geraniol y linalool), ésteres (geranilo y linalilo) y terpenos (pineno y limoneno). La lavanda también contiene una alta proporción de fenol, lo que le confiere propiedades antisépticas y antibióticas muy potentes. Nota de perfume: Media. Propiedades:
  • Antiséptico, desinfectante.
  • Equilibra el sistema nervioso.
  • Antiespasmódico.
  • Eficaz para heridas y llagas; ideal para quemaduras.
  • Eficaz para el acné, el eccema seco, ingrediente en mezclas para el cuidado de la piel.
  • Se utiliza en balneoterapia para el tratamiento de trastornos circulatorios funcionales.
Las pruebas de laboratorio muestran que:
  • Con una concentración del 4,5 %, la esencia de lavanda mata el bacilo de Eberth (tifoidea) y el estafilococo.
  • Con una concentración del 5 %, destruye el bacilo de Loeffler (difteria).
  • La esencia mata el bacilo de la tuberculosis con una concentración del 0,2 % y su poder antiséptico es mayor que el del fenol, el cresol y el quaiacol 3 .
  • El vapor de lavanda destruye el estreptococo y el neumococo en 12 a 24 horas.
Contraindicaciones/Efectos secundarios: No se conocen. Información anecdótica: En caso de duda, utilice lavanda. Es la primera opción cuando se mezcla con árbol del té y eucalipto en sinergia o con arcilla para el herpes y el herpes zóster. Es la primera opción para sinergias/mezclas para sinusitis/resfriados. Es indiscutible su efecto antiinflamatorio y curativo de quemaduras. El aceite esencial de lavanda es imprescindible en su kit de mezclas, principalmente por su versatilidad y eficacia. Se utiliza para aliviar picaduras de insectos, cortes leves, abrasiones e inflamaciones. Debido a que el aceite esencial de lavanda ofrece una amplia gama de diversidad terapéutica, el consultor profesional de PB-CAM lo utiliza en la mayoría de las sinergias, mezclas y productos que producimos. También utilizamos la flor de lavanda en mezclas de té y tinturas.
